Cherish Imperfect Allies – T-Shirt

We’re all different, and we all see things from a different perspective. We come from different backgrounds, base our lives on different experiences, and even in the same household and at the same moment, come away with different memories.

So how magical is it that so many of us, and indeed, if tyou really dig deep, almsot all of us, want the same things?

No two of us will ever be 100% aligned on anything — but none of us can accomplish anything of realy lasting meaning on our own.

We can’t fight the good fight alone. (Ok, maybe we can fight it, but we certainly can’t win it on our own.)

If we really want things to change, if we really want things to get better, then we need to have more people on our side.

No one agrees with us 100% of the time. And that’s ok. (If they did, that would actually be kind of weird. That’s dictator-sycophant behavior right there.) Some of the best learning comes from honest disagreement and open dialogue, after all.

This is an appeal, a manifesto, and a reminder. It says: “We may not agree on everything. But I’m grateful that we have each other’s backs on the big things.”
